Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is non-invasive spinal care focused on correcting critical segments of the spinal column. Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) care for patients of all ages, with a variety of health conditions. Chiropractors are especially well known for their expertise in caring for patients with back pain, neck pain, and headaches. Chiropractors also care for patients with a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, involving the muscles, ligaments and joints.
Thermal Therapy
Hot and cold therapies are used to decrease swelling and inflammation in order to promote healing and provide pain relief.
Intersegmental Traction
Intersegmental traction tables mobilize the spinal column while gently stretching ligaments and muscles. Intersegmental traction tables increase blood flow and oxygen to spinal discs, ligaments, and muscles to help promote healing.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a comfortable therapy used for many purposes. It can be used to relax muscles, reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, decrease pain, as well as reduce muscle spasticity.
Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasound has been shown to cause an increase in tissue relaxation, local blood flow, and breaks down calcium deposits. The effect of the increase in local blood flow can be used to help reduce local swelling and chronic inflammation.
Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercise is a regimen or plan of physical activities designed and prescribed for specific therapeutic goals. Its purpose is to work towards the restoration of normal function or to reduce pain above and below the site of injury.
